Do you want to work with PtX and be one of those who put a technical mark on the projects? Then you may be the new colleague we are looking for to join the team of Everfuellers!

At Everfuel, they work to make the world a better place by showing the way to a fossil-free future. They work actively for the green energy transition by making green hydrogen commercially attractive both as a sustainable fuel in the transport sector and as a green solution for industry. They are growing rapidly, and are looking for the next Everfueller, who has the motivation and ambition to make the world a better place to live!

You have technical knowledge and thrive working with complex systems
As Automation Engineer at Everfuel you will be responsible for developing the automation architecture, specifications, designs, tools, and processes ranging from programming through PCS setup to interfaces to the Everfuel cloud platform “Helios”. You will be working with automation engineering tasks related to hydrogen production plants (water electrolysis). You will therefore be working both on a strategic and operational level. You should expect focus to be on control loop optimization, functional safety, specifications design, and validation processes.

Everfuel is a young entrepreneurial company working on projects across Europe, giving you the opportunity to be working in an international environment, where you have the possibility to influence the growth strategy and the results in collaboration with your dedicated colleagues. You will be part of the R&D department at Everfuel, where you will have the possibility to build and professionalize procedures and tools for your own areas.

Your tasks:

  • Siemens Neo configuration and programming
  • Configuration of hardware and software
  • Functional safety design and implementation
  • Troubleshooting and optimization of existing equipment
  • Control system validation

Your place of work will be at “Everfuel Tech” in Fredericia, Denmark, at the HySynergy PtX Site. There will be a mix of desk work and site-related tasks. You will report to the R&D Manager, and you will be part of a growing team who are all dedicated to ensuring that green hydrogen becomes a competitive alternative to fossil fuels. Do you have that same dedication, and do you want to make an impact on the future? Then join Everfuel!

Who are you?
You might have an educational background as electrician/automation technologist and with a continuing education as Marine Engineer, Electrical Engineer or similar. Preferably you have more than 5 years of relevant experience with industrial PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar) and control programming. However, if you have the right willingness to learn, you can also be a graduate engineer with the right mindset. If you have experience with site related tasks it is also an advantage.

We are looking for a person that has the talent to work both on the strategic level setting the optimal architecture and on the operational level preparing specifications and documentations. We are looking for a fast learner who is detail oriented, disciplined and works in a structured way. You are a trustworthy team player with good interpersonal skills and people enjoy working with you. You are eager to seek and apply new knowledge. We hope the ideal candidate can see themselves in several of the following:

  • Engineering degree with relevant experience e.g. from a similar role in R&D or the process industry
  • Structure and detail oriented
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Preferably experience with site related tasks

The position will be perfect for you if you enjoy working in a dynamic and flat organization. Everyone is equally vital at Everfuel– because together, they can achieve so much more and with even better results.
