You have technical knowledge and thrive working with complex systems
As Lead Automation Engineer at Everfuel you will be responsible for developing the automation architecture, specifications, designs, tools, and processes. You should expect focus to be on control loop optimization, functional safety, specifications design, and validation processes.

Everfuel is a young entrepreneurial company working on projects across Europe, giving you the opportunity to be working in an international environment, where you have the possibility to influence the growth strategy and the results in collaboration with your dedicated colleagues. You will be part of the Technology department at Everfuel, where you will have the possibility to build and professionalize procedures and tools for your own areas.

Your tasks:

  • Configuration of hardware and software
  • Functional safety design and implementation
  • Project management within automation engineering
  • Troubleshooting and optimization of existing equipment
  • Develop automation architecture and functional descriptions
  • Follow up, test, and validate the programming from vendors
  • Ensure installation and testing on site

Your place of work will be at “Everfuel Tech” in Fredericia, Denmark, at the HySynergy PtX Site. There will be a mix of desk work and site-related tasks. You will report to the Technology Director, and you will be part of a growing team who are all dedicated to ensuring that green hydrogen becomes a competitive alternative to fossil fuels.

Who are you?
You might have an educational background as electrician/automation technologist and with a continuing education as Electrical Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar. You must have a solid understanding of industrial PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar) and control programming as this knowledge will give you the ability to set the framework for collaboration with the external vendors. If you have experience with site related tasks it is an advantage.

We are looking for a person that has the talent to work both on the strategic level setting the optimal architecture and on the operational level preparing specifications and documentations. You are detail oriented, disciplined, works in a structured way and are a trustworthy team player.

Everfuel supplies green hydrogen to larger car fleets such as buses, trucks, and taxis and as a green solution for the industry. Green hydrogen is a 100% clean fuel produced from renewable energy sources and will play a key role in overcoming Europe's climate challenges. They are based at the Everfuel Farm in Høgild near Herning and in Fredericia, where they are building Europe's largest electrolysis plant to date and new attractive offices.
