Kronstadt is now part of IKS /INDICODE – an international fast growing fashion company. As part of the future development of Kronstadt, we are now looking for a buyer.
You will be working internationally and be based at the headquarters in new offices located centrally at Taulov in Jutland. .
THE POSITION
As buyer you ensure products are produced and delivered in line with the strategy and targets with respect to cost, quality and lead time. You will be involved in the overall development of the business. The position refers to Kenneth Søjdis, Founder and owner of IKS / INDICODE.
You will be able to form your set-up and widen your responsibility, according to your results and performance. You will work closely with a team of dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic colleagues and you will work closely with the management of the company.
You will have these responsibilities:
- Development and following up on our supplier portfolio
- Managing and optimizing the production processes, costs, quality and timelines
- Securing continuous improvement on margins and quality standards, including pricing agreements
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules when needed
- Quality-control programs
- Development of the supply chain
- Being a visible and proactive buyer, internally as well as externally
- Review and benchmark suppliers with respect to delivery performance, quality, claims, margins and lead-time
- Responsible for the sustainability actions within the UN goals Responsible Consumption & Production and Climate Action
Travelling is expected as part of the job.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Experience from a similar position
- Strong experience with supply chain management
- Up to date on the market trends and technologies
- Analytical mindset
- Focused on obtaining continuous improvements and setting the agenda for excellence
- Good at managing budgets
- Fluent in Danish and English
